The 100% urethane cover, used by professional tour players, enhances spin and control by interacting with the club grooves. This urethane material is stronger and softer than ionomer. The new speed construction features an upgraded HFM speedmantle and a new tour flight dimple pattern. These design elements are aimed at optimizing aerodynamics, lift, and ball speed. The ball has a soft feel due to its low 40 compression core and soft urethane cover. The core compression and cover compression together provide a total ball compression of 70. The ultra-low 40 compression core is combined with the Speedmantle that incorporates HFM technology. This technology involves a crosslinking chemical reaction that forms irreversable links, resulting in improved shear resistance.
